France has
imposed a national lockdown across the country as the number of confirmed
coronavirus infections (Corona 19) has increased exponentially. All workplaces
have to be closed and are advised to work-from-home. Currently, Korea is also
expanding its work-from-home policy due to the prolonged COIVD-19 crisis.
Grand
Plastic Surgery has not had any confirmed cases in the hospital so far due to
the thorough quarantine management but decided to implement work-rotation as a
preventative measure to protect the medical team and employee’s health in the
COVID-19 crisis. Although essential workforces are excluded, the hospital is
implementing a work-rotation system for those who can work from home until the
condition is stabilized.
All
employees are assisting the customers with a face mask, and hand sanitizers are
placed on all floors in the hospital. Also, the hospital is responding to virus
infection by installing air purification and sterilization systems.
All visiting customers and officials are
restricted to enter the hospital without wearing personal mask. Only one
guardian per customer can enter after checking their body temperature and
health checklist.
CEO Rhee
Sewhan M.D of Grand Plastic Surgery(plastic surgeon) said, "We will do our
best to ensure our patient's safety through the thorough quarantine system and
hygiene and health care of the medical team and employees".
