GRAND PLASTIC SURGERY
- 2020.08.03 13:30:35
Plastic surgery is performed throughout the
body from facial surgeries such as eyes and nose to body contouring surgeries
such as breast surgeries and liposuction, and safety is the most important
thing when performing the surgery.
Especially, due to the recent COVID-19
outbreak measures such as quarantine and thorough patient management is needed
and medical system such as emergency medical system has to be fully functioning
in order to protect patient’s safety.
Besides, virus infection has to be
prevented by installing air purification and sterilization system and
disinfection and hygiene should be thoroughly maintained on the tools and
equipment that are contacted and used by the patients and medical staffs.
Moreover, patient's rights have to be
protected, and ghost surgery should be eradicated by operating CCTV in the
surgery room. CCTV operation relieves the anxiety of the patients and their
guardian, and it also works as a device to prevent ghost surgery, as the
guardian can monitor the entire surgery process through CCTV.
"Although plastic surgery has its
positive function of helping overcome patient’s insecurities and enhancing
their confidence, it can also cause adverse effects such as medical accidents
or side effects," said CEO Rhee Sewhan M.D of Grand Plastic Surgery.
Rather than simply looking at the surgery price or reviews, understanding the
side effects and precautions that may occur is essential when deciding the
operation.
Since 2015, Grand Plastic Surgery has been
operating CCTV in the surgery rooms and surgery real-name system to protect
patient’s rights and eradicate ghost surgery.
